Topography Assistant
General Qualifications
- Graduated from Mapping and Cadastre Technician, Construction or related departments.
- Basic knowledge to support field measurement and topography works.
- Familiarity with Total Station, GPS, leveling, and surveying equipment, or willingness to learn.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Detail-oriented, accurate, capable of active fieldwork, and inclined toward teamwork.
Job Description
- Assist the Surveyor during field measurements; transport and set up necessary equipment.
- Support the use of surveying instruments such as Total Station, GPS, and leveling devices.
- Record measurement data and take notes under the guidance of the Surveyor.
- Assist in topography and leveling tasks in the field; handle equipment placement and transportation responsibilities.
- Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, and storage of surveying equipment after use.
- Contribute to the preparation of daily field reports and minutes together with the Surveyor.
- Follow field safety and occupational health regulations; report any hazards to the Surveyor.
